Vehicle access directly to the actual property, is possible at low Spring tide (when the river dries to expose the shingle riverbed). Public car park is nearby, chargeable March - October. (unless it's low Spring tide, when you can park on riverbed for free, but only for a couple of hours!) It's on edge of a peaceful village, in an AONB. (The railway which runs adjacent to the property is very infrequent: it serves only the China Clay works, and there are between 0 and 3 trains per day, which pass at walking speed.)
