A former tin mine which ceased mining in 1990. Since 1993 it has operated as a successful mining heritage site. Located in Pendeen in the far west of Cornwall on the north Cornish coast between St Ives and Lands End. Dramatic scenery. A complete suite of mining buildings with original mining machinery. A small underground tour into 18th-century mining tunnels.
